Wired News has been looking into a stealth-mode company called Broadband Instruments, based in San Diego. According to news reports, BI has former music execs from MusicMatch, iRiver and the Rio, all at one time popular music players and devices, before the iPod came along.
According to Wired News, BI is likely making a consumer music device with wireless functionality. Can it be like Microsoft’s Zune? Is it the next iPod killer?
